The less, the better. It's a watch forum after all.
Frankly, most of us here are strangers to each other in the real world. I wouldn't want one of my only interactions with a stranger to involve a loaded joke about race or identity, because the majority here don't have any meaningful real world contact. Not only are we not personally acquainted in any real sense, but the internet is a notoriously nuance-free medium that makes tone and intent hard to read.
Even on TV, I can see a person's expression, hear his tone, and take whatever he says in context. As part of a standup act on screen, sure. A meme about Covid deaths or Asian people on a web forum? Try to avoid that.
If you need to crack wise about somebody's race or identity to make a joke among strangers, you need a smarter joke. Either way, we'll all survive, but caution and courtesy make this watch forum a more pleasant place to spend time.
Best,
Tim
