She makes truffles, usually very dark chocolate with some sort of aroma such as fresh mint, wild fennel, Chinese five-spice or Port (which I like the most but apparently cannot be sold); also some other confections made of very dark chocolate and containing dried fruits and almonds and crunchy things. She has consented to send samples to an appropriate Southern California get-together.
She also makes astonishingly good caramel salee (French salted caramel), but for the most part does not combine it with her chocolates. (As you might have gathered the business is primarily in the nature of a hobby, but when some people wanted to buy them she was flattered enough to print up labels.)
