The calendar was set correctly initially, but we played around with the pushers in the boutique and didn't care about the leap year. I will set it to Year 4 next time I put it on. Thanks, Pun!

I needed to look up the pics to see what you mean regarding the lugs, but now I understand. I think you're right, it looks as if the strap connects to the lugs a little too near the case. Maybe a combination between my small wrists (16.5 cm) and the still...

the technicality is certainly something to marvel at... Given the complicated movement, it is surprising that the case is not unduly big and looks perfect on your wrist. Great piece of watch technology and will be a talking piece at any GTG for sure. /W72... 

Didn't have the chance yet to be on a GTG, but I would certainly bring the Twin Beat.

I am in full agreement with you. The dial, you love it or you hate it. For me it works brilliantly, showing the fresh and innovative side of VC. Kind of the De Bethune in VC's collection, if you don't mind. But I also love the classic, elegant side of VC ... 

Who knows there will one day where they will stick this new technology in a classic model like the PCC.

I got to see this in the metal at Watches and Wonders Miami last year. One of the stars of the show for me! Wear it in good health!

Still waiting for my first Patek to arrive... Maybe 2020 will be a stellar watch year for me In any case, the Twin Beat will be a very regular companion on my wrist, it is so addictive!

The 1.2Hz resting mode is a perfect compliment to a perpetual calendar. Not to mention the modern beauty of the watch itself. Congrats!

...no day of the week on a perpetual? Seems odd. Also not a fan of the VC logo printed underneath the crystal as it blocks the hands as they rotate underneath. On the really good side, great bridge layout...very interesting : )

As this is normally the part of the calendar I reliably manage to remember Of course the month and leap year I also know, but this is needed to correctly set the calendar on the watch. So I prefer to have a missing Day indicator over a too-cluttered dial,...

This is what VC does best, IMO. Absolutely top notch all around - the concept, the finishing, the layout, the indicators are all flawless. It is a mechanical marvel for sure. Enjoy your love affair with this beauty! AH

I was so impressed when I saw it last year. It's certainly an extremely difficult watch to make, the rarity and the intrinsic value is going to be very very high. The instantaneous perpetual calendar is nice (and oh so difficult to make, as you need so ma... 

in my view is to avoid the trouble of resetting the calendar after the watch ran out of power. So they need a long power reserve in a manual watch to avoid this. I don't think it is accuracy driven, although this system allows for a 5 Hz "active" balance ... 

It's definitely a very special timepiece and not one often seen! I agree, the primary reason is to make sure the perpetual calendar doesn't need to be reset if the watch has stopped. A super cool watch, and this one requires a very special individual to a...
