I wouldn't say chic, can a pilot watch really be chic? but more fun with the colored dial. Indeed we can have some funny and cheap alternatives with Russian watches...If you want to try Russian chic you need to find alternatives, but the risk is it become... 

i like to try watches from countries other than Switzerland and its a nice looker, fairly accurate and knowing Russian build quality it will last forever. no Russian bling bling for me thankyou best Graham

I like the hooded lugs that seem to have largely disappeared from the design lexicon since the 1950's, and the size is good too. Nice to see these less common designs. A
