5489G and 5489R. Good watches. Reasonably priced too.
We have to accept the trend
Despite any statement, the path of Patek is sporty.
Instead of reducing those models (no more steel pieces means higher prices only, no less production), there's a new line.
Stern runs a company which is the lighthouse of the finest watchmaking (likely it was), but the strategy is clear, the squared Nautilus is the confirmation.

I remember this one: right up my street! An extravagant, art deco piece.
The Cubitus is mundane by design compared to this one

I personally don't feel very excited about the upcoming Cubitus. Like the Nautilus, it's not what interests me in the Patek lineup.
When I see the Cubitus I have a rictus. When I look at this Trapeze, I am pleased. Original, but not ridiculus nor cheapus.
