The John Schaeffer range for me are the most attractive watches ever produced by Audemars Piguet. I wish they brought them back and yes, in the same size!

It is Audemars Piguet showing us that it can do classy elegant watches.
Very nice, if too small for me. But for any minute repeater, the proof is in the hearing.
I love it, except for the fact that the hour aperture being located at 12 o'clock
it is "hidden" by the minutes hand when the hour jumps.
But apart from this point, it's wonderful.

The Patek Philippe reference 3969 has a similar issue, although much less pronounced.
And it was completely corrected with the reference 5275P: shorter hand which doesn't overlap the hour window.

You and me brother! Even with amplification (aka, hearing aids) I wonder whether I could hear the repeater.
I wish they would put the writing on the movement & case the same way up
I know I can turn the watch around but so can they... you know for the price of any repeater putting Repetition Minutes the other way round is zip

Gosh, that's just gorgeous.
I sure wish AP would go back to producing shaped watches - I miss the Tradition and Eduard Piguet collections. ;-(
