IWC

I purchased this watch yesterday and I must admit that I am not a IWC buff but I do adore this watch very much. I love that it is 40mm which is the absolute perfect size for me. The aqua dial is also lovely, subtle and quirky with the grid pattern.

I know it is a bit controversial and quite a bit disdain towards it but I honestly love it for what it is.
I do wish they kept the old logo and wordmark style on the dial and while the crown guards feels authentic on this piece, I do think that they are unnecessary, but that is not the biggest issue at all, if there are any besides the price.

The bracelet is fantastic and the watch feels great on the wrist. My only issue now is that I might have to complete the Genta design-tree family or my OCD might make me crazy.

Beautiful watch and a very fun watch that will get a lot of wrist time from me.

I would have chosen the same color, I'm sure it will bring you tons of satisfaction! I wouldn't worry too much about the genta connection, wear what you like!

I agree about the dial and bracelet. But I'm here to help cool your worry about trying to 'complete the Genta design-tree family':

My idea is to perhaps aquire a Nautilus one day as I feel that would completely a trinity of designs from Genta. Absolutely love the Disney pieces!

and the ingenieur is a big part of that history. Wear it in good health and enjoy.

And aqua stood out to me. The white dial was fantastic, however white made the Watch appear a tad larger. Aqua is probably more expensive for IWC to produce and yet they sell it for the same price as white and black.
