Thanks for your comments, and perspective being an owner of both.

 

I think for me the differences appear larger at the "lower" price points for the respective brands and that was the discussion I wanted to initiate.
The point re thickness is well taken, this is one (of many) reasons I am drawn to Journe for example. And of course it's a personal preference. From my own experience a perfect example of this is that I owned the Datograph too, and the thickness was appreciated given the please of the movement. The same is not true for the ZW, a watch I had tried on my wrist countless times, as you do not have that depth on the reverse.
