You are exactly right. It is unreasonable
to expect that mechanical objects will always work perfectly. It is how these companies handle their products malfunctions that truly speaks to their character as quality purveyors of luxury goods. For what these objects cost we should be taken care after the sale and that is what will make us repeat cuctomers. I am sorry that your experience with Lange was not as good as it should have been. Their level of service should reflect the level of watches they sell which are some of the best in the world.
