Well you know my opinion on AP so no further comment required out of courtesy.! Other than this I hope you are all well my friend Andy.

I placed both of my AP aside and placed my Ceramic Daytona to my wrist. That watch represents beauty, value and real quality . Far from being rubbish. I really enjoy mine. Best my friend, Kari

I got my first Rolex on 26.4.1986 - on the same day Tschernobyl exploded. After that the watch has been serviced three times, in average every 10 years. My nephew is still wearing it often and during these over 30 years there were never the slightest prob... 

That was 15 years ago. An oversized watch with a nice JLC movement. I do like the traditional looking watches they have made. Never cared for the RO, just personal taste. The last few years I've read too many owners horror stories to think about buying on...

I have one or two really nice suits. If I would wear an AP pen in the pocket of my light grey suit and go to a meeting, it would become a disaster. Hey, now I know! With AP pen choose the colour of the suit based on the colour of the ink. Best, Kari

On the other hand; my two RO have been "serviced" 4 times plus movement change. I did not get one single answer from AP. Luckily, a nice master watchmaker explained me some of the problems after having a look without opening the back. Best, Kari

I can\'t understand how a well known brand such as Audemars Piguet can give back to a customer a timepiece in this state. That\'s not possible. They are fully discredited. Even an horology intern know that. My watchmaker teacher always tell us that there\... 

there are watchmakers and watchmakers. We all are different. Is Opel a luxury car? The retailers sell it (nearly) like that. I think luxury is something much more than the old Brand Image. It is also quality and performance. Best, Kari

Conspiracy I tell you

Are they seriously qualified to make watches, let alone luxury watches? They will have to give you a full refund. I must admit, I like the design of this watch and like AP in general but I am glad to say that I don't own one and I will not be tempted to p... 

If AP wanted to be reasonable and decent, why did they not change also the case of my perpetual? Now I have a watch with "wrong movement" compared to the Certificate of Origin. If I would like to sell it, which sounds bloody logical, I would loose a big b... 

This has put me right off the brand.

but i hope they manage to make things right replace the entire watch and triple QC the damn watch. Surprised for a company of such standing to have such issue so soon after the repair. Keep your chin up they will do the right thing.

and I surely know how it works. There are incredible stories about the service I have received from one manufacturer and it's really a huge difference compared to one calling themselves "luxury". Like I have stated many times, luxury is acting and perform... 

I have had several jumbo's, but this new 15202 is supposed to get a yellow gold rotor, while yours doesn't seem to be yellow at all, except for a small part. I am a bit confused. is it any LE?

maybe that's root of all problems

I know AP approves design of the personalised oscillating weight and i doubt they would put one that would do this to the movement? some other reason perhaps.

I purchased a chronometer Bleu pre-owned from an ad. Wore it a couple of times and it stopped. Dealer sent it to journe and over 2 months later it came back. Wore it a couple more times and it stopped again. The watcheck was beautiful in mint condition bu... 

The difference is that you bought a pre-owned watch and thus, you can't know the background. I bought both watches brand new. I got my 15202 still warm from the oven because I ordered it from an AP Boutique and had to wait (plus pay a big deposit) for qui...

Otherwise they have no incentive to changes their practices. This is the utilitarian aspect of litigation.

The lesson learned to me is that I will see that my organisation will always threat our clients opposite to AP. If we make a mistake, we pay it back with fair interest and ultimately everything goes out from my pocket. And you know what, I am proud of tha... 

AP should be ashamed about this. Quite embarrassing for them.

What is that stuff on the movement anyway? Dirt? Oxidation? Hard to tell from the photos. Whatever it is it is totally unacceptable and AP needs to make this right in a hurry.

and I can't understand how it can happen to a watch which has just been produced, then serviced, then serviced... It seems that the sh*t in the movement is also between the wheels. That might explain the lost accuracy. I do not know. I am, to put it very ...

perhaps someone sprinkled some bustelo grounds in there to ensure you would need repeat service down the road, just not anticipating it to be so disturbingly obvious. AP, this is bordering Res Ipsa locquitor. Because if this story, I feel compelled to rep... 

Ironic that you should mention JLC, another favorite brand of mine. There are more than a few service horror stories floating around about that brand as well. And you'll invariably find someone in those threads saying "I've never had this sort of issue wi... 

But I am just speaking about my two watches and the service those have received. I saw in another forum a post of a new Patek having a small particle (one) in the movement. That's a small issue and those are typically corrected relatively fast. My experie... 

and I was "lucky" that they both stopped working just after purchase. The warranty of 15202 was extended with one year and the QP to 5 years. I have had minor problems with other brands including a very small issue. But these other brands have solved ever... 

The new movement for your perpetual is unacceptable, AP should've given a whole new watch. Keep on testing your perpetual and try to get new official papers, but the truth is that if you're going to sell it, you'll lose likely a 50%. Street price of used ... 

in the Regional Service Centre covering half of a continent. I agree! I asked for the new paperwork with the new movement and I got a letter. That's incredible. If I would hate my nephew enough, I would give these RO to him. Plus the cufflinks. Best, Kari... 

disappointing to say the least. I like the 15202 and was happy it could fit when sized to the smallest bracelet size. But I don't have the confidence to buy this now Cheers Robin

Even AP denies it, there was something badly wrong with their production and service. I got a huge amount of messages telling about very similar problems. At the same time the movement of 15202 is a very reliable one. I'm thinking, as an example, my 2 x 3... 

I can feel what is going thru your mind now and best as you said "No Comments" . I had issues with Ap service but it was quickly resolved and now for me the best is to stay away from the QP models and stick to the basics. I do have a 15202 st and besides ... 

If I could just turn this experience into business: if AP would agree to pay my average hourly earnings for each hour their products have spoiled my life. I would buy a Patek MR and not the cheapest one. Best, Kari

No matter what we say about Patek. The after sales is very very good and above all they are very reactive to situations and work immediately on damage control . For me even 5204p perpetual and split would also do ... The bad experience will have a lasting... 

I love most of their watches but I love even more their service attitude. If a Patek of mine would have collapsed like my APs, it would have been fixed very rapidly and problem solved. The huge asset of Patek are the people in their organisation. From top... 

...Many times now and looked at the pictures more. I\'m absolutely gobsmacked - no words. I\'d be so (pardon me) effing, blue-in-the-face angry. Ugh. I still can\'t believe those pictures! I\'m so very sorry this happened to you... as they say: Screw me o... 

And guess how angry I am after investing around 70k to two watches I have not been able to enjoy and finally, I bought two pairs of AP cufflinks, bloody expensive ones. I wore those cufflinks once - did not have time for more because their masters (watche... 

As I said, I\'d be fuming and no matter how nice the pen - it really doesn\'t make up for that. No way!!! I feel for you... :-( Julian

Altough i am a AP fan, experiences like this make me reconcider! Untill now i had no real bad exxperiences, despite the well overpriced Service fee's. Keep us informed and all the good for you! Grtz Raymond

I know sometimes shit happens and I think most of us would give vendors we like a shot or two to fix problems, But this is embarrassing. Maybe just bad luck, but bad luck can be fixed by good service. You are a good customer - too good for AP imo.

About bad luck: it can happen once, it can happen twice - perhaps even three times. But after all this sh*t, I would not call it very bad luck. I would call it very bad products combined with very bad service. Still I love the design and overall appearanc...
