Yes, there are multiple layers to this sad tale. You have very eloquently outlined your critique of AP, but you seem to give your AD a hall pass? They either told you, or allowed you to believe, that your watch was being sent to Switzerland when it was, in fact, sent by them to Amsterdam. When you informed them of the mistake, they hardly blew up the phones in rectifying the problem. It sounds to me like they sent and email and got an email. You made all the follow up enquiries. Not exactly outstanding customer service from your AD.
Again, glad your beautiful AP 15202 is back on your wrist but, in my opinion, you do owe MichaelC an apology for your comment above.
