They have a nice course for that not far from my place, some short straight parts, many curves. In the straight parts, the Tesla was unreachable, its acceleartion was out of this world, but in the curves, physics struck back, and my car with some 70% of the Tesla's mass had no difficulties "kissing" the S' rear bumper again. However, nothing can really describe the sex appeal of the AC Cobra with its V8 sound and incredibly attractive a$$ . I glued my Golf R to its rear, just to enjoy that delighting sight and sound.

My two cents comment:
I don’t see where this is environmental sustainable and why it should be sponsored by public money. It is just a sportscar for people that would like to appear environmental friendly. This car is just the summum of hypocrisis or non sense.

But even more people would complain if the government picked and chose specific models for eligibility for tax credits right? So it's no easy solution. But I agree... Why should a high performance sedan like this get public money?
How about a subsidy based on hp/torque and not specific brand or models?
Say subsidy only applies for EVs with up to 150 hp and 200 nm of torque? 😂 That should be sufficient for daily commute right?😂

And it's just so strange that the government only subsidizes the most expensive and unnecessary "high performance version" and not the normal versions. It's almost counterintuitive.

Joking aside, these are impressive golf carts - they can go really fast. They just don't seem to carry a lot of golf clubs. I really don't like the trunk of the Model 3, it feels small.

I know at around 140 kph, the consumption goes to around 4 kilometers per KWH on my Tesla. So assuming this car has around 80 KWH, that's only 320 kilometers.
My car only has around 60 KWH, so my car can only do around 240 KM at high speed. And Autobahn speeds can be 200 kph, so, the consumption will go up even more, thus shortening the autonomy.
I wonder what my AMG Mercedes would do on the autobahn?

I like the Taycan but they are behind Tesla in terms of development and design. Even then, the battery replacement costs after long term use is a problem. I wouldn’t replace all the cars in my family with an EV, but having one is a compelling argument.
