I don’t see where this is environmental sustainable and why it should be sponsored by public money. It is just a sportscar for people that would like to appear environmental friendly. This car is just the summum of hypocrisis or non sense.

But even more people would complain if the government picked and chose specific models for eligibility for tax credits right? So it's no easy solution. But I agree... Why should a high performance sedan like this get public money?

I like the Taycan but they are behind Tesla in terms of development and design. Even then, the battery replacement costs after long term use is a problem. I wouldn’t replace all the cars in my family with an EV, but having one is a compelling argument.
