Black anodised aluminum dial (notice the small “Al” printed between 7 and 8 o’clock, a tribute to the fact that Louis Breguet, a descendant of the brand’s founder and a pioneer in aircraft manufacturing, was one of the first to use aluminum alloys in early aviation) & Syringe hands
Note below that the gold pin buckle has a quick-release feature of its own

Indeed, both calibres (6 mm thick) seem to be based on the automatic 7281 (6.6 mm thick).

Looks good and probably one of the better executions of this watch, but...
I've said it elsewhere and every time I see this model, I'll say it again: the bezel font doesn't match the dial. For the insane asking price of this thing, it had better match. For two, why does the pin buckle say metal when it should be hallmarked in go...
I think the idea was to be faithful to the original models,
which also had slightly different fonts for the bezel and dial. I like it personally. As for the pin buckle, I don't know why this "metal". Best, Emmanuel credit: monochrome ...
That's fine—it's just an inherited error in that case. Too bad, I like the design in almost all other respects.

They are doing the very same thing like the other brands, to release something hot in a precious metal and later on the very same thing in steel. ideally not limited of course.

For me, these new Type XX are very different watches, probably for different tastes and wrists. The black variant is very much to my taste as I like colored gold even on such a "tool" watch. But I certainly understand that many are waiting for a steel ver...
