And yes, boutique people probably do need more briefing about the new pieces. Although I have to add that I'd be interested to know how many boutiques even got a DR Tourbillon Lumiere. I would bet that most Bulgari sales people will never even get to see one in person. It is a relatively more obscure piece so I'm not surprised that you got a blank stare. Now if an inquiry about an Octo or Endurer drew that reaction, then I'd really raise an eyebrow. Nevertheless, they should at least be aware. Hopefully it will get better with time.

For myself not much has changed
The Purists edition is kind of cool, with the added meaning attached because it is a Purists watch. But to me, Bulgari continues to reek of me-too styling, over the top design. It still feels very 'wannabe', to me, IMHO. I'm referring solely to design.
