I remain skeptical
And I wouldn't buy one.
I can't come to terms with seeing the old "lowly" Bulgari-Bulgari models side by side with the new "sophisticated" Genta-Roth lines.
Moreover, design-wise what I thought was daunting for Genta looks "new-rich" when wearing the Bulgari brand name. I am probably being unfair, I know, but that is how I feel.
And when I see anyone wearing a Bulgari-Bulgari sort of watch I'd feel embarrassed to be seen with a Bulgari-Genta... It is as if Patek had a Longines line of watches only with the same name. Both very respectable, but you would not be doing any favours to the Patek wearers...
I believe it should stick to jewellery, which they do fantastically well and which I am very fond of buying.

For myself not much has changed
The Purists edition is kind of cool, with the added meaning attached because it is a Purists watch. But to me, Bulgari continues to reek of me-too styling, over the top design. It still feels very 'wannabe', to me, IMHO. I'm referring solely to design.
