It was 2008 and still looking good. It was also available in rose gold.

These are my sentiments as well. I don't know if I can 'intellectualize it', but with Cartier, I tend to prefer their 'plain' non-complication timepieces.... Perhaps it is because their design language, by default, imbues them with a certain character and...

I bought my OG Speedmaster in 2006, close to 16 years ago! That was my first high-horology watch purchase, and even back then I remember thinking to myself I wouldn't want to own more than three luxury timepieces, but whom was I kidding ........

As a general rule, I feel that a tourbillon spoils that aesthetic of the dial. However in this case the Cartier “C” is a cool design detail. Hope you have a great weekend.

I did make an exception for that Vacheron Constantin 6000T I reviewed, I found that watch wonderful, even with the exposed Tourbillon which is normally against my personal choice. But generally, I like my tourbillons to be hidden from view, kind of like h...

The calibre 9452 MC is a good looking flying tourbillon. Back in 2008 large case sizes were on trend, but in my opinion not just at the lower price range. I still have fond memories of seeing this watch at an excellent launch party ;-)) Hope you have a gr...
