I guess I was bored, and being supportive of my AD.

My honest thoughts initially was that I was very indifferent and it’s probably a watch I could live without. I’m more a Rolex sports person these days. However it was rightfully pointed out to me that the titanium case is very light and this could very well be a nice travel watch to have. You know…lighter…less prominent (versus PP/Rolex sports), and I could possibly getaway with wearing it in Europe without getting robbed/mugged (please correct me if I’m wrong lol). Also having an 8 hertz movement is psychologically soothing on the mind. Does feel great to know that the movement isn’t shabby.
In these last few days of ownership I’ve really come to enjoy the watch fwiw. It’s got just the right amount of polished bits, decent case size and nice case to bracelet ratio. It wears pretty well overall. Not to mention this is an old design language, and wasn’t created yesterday. So….there’s some history behind the Alpine Eagle. Do I like it more now versus to when I first bought it? Definitely yes. The fact that I’m eyeing the Alpine green seems to me as a positive sign. Oh last but not least, I love the orange accents and black dial. Kinda matches my black edition 911 with red brakes.
Thanks for reading and looking to hear from fellow owners on their thoughts regarding ownership!
