Alkiro's carnivore test 11 - newly minted parents version / French 🇫🇷
The arrival of our second child has greatly reduced my activity on Puristspro generally and here in particular.
Today we've achieved an important milestone in Junior's development - the first restaurant meal. His of course processed via mommy but the three eaters in our household were quite chuffed to make first steps towards the old routine.
As always, with the carnivorous content measured 
Starting with a venison carpaccio for daddy. I guess this qualifies as meat?
...and a meat free salad for my wife.
The standard tartare (meat
) was not missing, either - no surprise really, as I have gone tartare free for so long...
The other reason was to be able to alternate with my wife in taking care of the baby, while ensuring her food did not get cold. In this case a fully vegetarian pumpkin and camembert risotto.
Finally desserts - a Paris-Graz for her. Meat free and a delectable fusion of French and Austrian...
And a more classical chocolate fondant for me. Likewise on meat content and tastiness

To be honest, nothing from Paris nor Brest as ingredients. In fact, the name of this cake comes from the cycle race Paris-Brest-Paris
A pastry chef decided, in 1910, to pay tribute to this race with a cake. And, to be right with the thematic, he decided to cook a round cake with an hole to symbolise a bicycle wheel 😉 Best wishes Alkiro

One baby, one 3,5 year old
Our elder daughter is quite used to restaurants, so not at all an issue with her. For the son it was a first and I agree - not quite easy. But if you start them young, they get used to it faster Have a great Sunday, Massi!
Very balanced meal, good thing junior is well behaved 😜
I remember my son has always been good, just carry him in his car seat to any restaurant and we can enjoy a meal without any surprises. Rgds Raymond

He slept in his pram till the starters arrived, then it was relay eating between my wife and me
