The Seiko SCVL002 aka 6810-8000 is one of my favorite stealthy Seikos. Released in the early 1990s in small quantities as a JDM only model it brought back Seiko’s thinnest mechanical movement- the 6810, at 1,98mm in an elegant dress piece (OK, put it on a black croc and it’s perfectly black tie wearable).
Hardly ever encountered and while I would love to bag its even more minimalist SCVL001 brother, I haven’t found a single one for sale in over 10 years of on and off looking 🤷🏻♂️
And it’s one of the very few watches, which has a shaped movement in a round case - so doubly quirky.
So anyone fearing that small watches don’t work - that’s 33mm on the same wrist as the 51mm Izul posted yesterday 😁

I do see an SCVL001 currently for sale on a Japanese auction site, but it doesn't appear to be in as fine a condition as your SCVL002.
They did all sorts over the ages 😊👍🏻
The 68xx movement is nowadays reserved for Credor only but it was not always the case 👍🏻
It definitely looks bigger than 33mm, very appropriate for your wrist

Went on Chrono24 and there are 2 but not in the condition yours is. The cabochons are lovely. There's a spaciousness about the dial which is very appealing.

reminds me of the difference between first and second generation Saxonia thins, with the exception that your scvl002 has Roman numerals. Between the 001 and the one you posted I must say that this one you posted is the more special imo.

The 001 is in some ways even more minimalist. Cannot say how that would translate into the wrist, never having experienced one live 🤷🏻♂️
