Fast food Vienna style - French variety

 

While I raely have time for a proper, relaxed lunch, I do not only eat Sacherwürstel and cevapcici Had a rare opportunity to indulge in one of my favourites recently. Even if one could - entry, order, eating, bill and exit in less than 30 minutes - call it fast food, it is not classically categorized as such.

Speaking of a beef tartare, here in a relatively, classical or conventional variety, at my favourite French restaurant in town. My tomato allergy is a wonderful instrument to sift the wheat from the chaff - i.e. if they cannot cater to it, the tartare is pre-made and therefore not quite the same quality as when they can. It does limit the number of places I can have a tartare but at the same time I rarely tend to get a bad one.

It comes with the - again in my humble opinion - best fries in town and the combination is divine. Or if you want a complete McTartare menu, you complement it with some white wine (had a sauvignon blanc to go with it this time).
