Hesalite vs sapphire redux

So I paid a visit to the local Omega boutique yesterday and checked out the new Speedmaster — both versions. Loved them both, loved the front of the hesalite slightly more. A few thoughts:

1. If I go hesalite, will I regret losing the view of the movement? Or is the movement not that special to look at if I already own, say, an 1815 chrono?

2. Have people who have gone hesalite ever had scratch problems that caused them to wish they had opted for sapphire instead? How common are scratches on hesalite, and how easy to polish out?

3. I’m not a fan of the polished middle links in the sapphire version. Apparently some people who like the sapphire but dislike the polished links buy the sapphire with a strap and separately order the unpolished bracelet. But that seems vaguely sacrilegious.

Curious whether folks have thoughts on the above. Thanks!
