Is there a serious competitor to the GMT Master 2 in this price range?
I travel more and more which is not good for my carbon footprint but it is another subject. last year almost 120000kms done by plane and.
I would like to find a nice GMT. I'm giving up on the idea of having a Pepsi.
What do the other manufactures have to offer.
The important criteria are:
- 40mm is a maximum
- steel or rubber
- should be thin
- and should not cost me an arm. Price range of the Rolex and 50% more is good.
I’m not chasing this watch since I have something else targeted but such watch exists? I have the feelings of the GMT Master 2 is the best choice.

Works well for me - I have it on leather but can easily be switched to a bracelet. But not as versatile as the GMT Master 2! ...
Funny too. This one was on my wish list but now discontinued . I never been able to find one in France in good shape
But I really like this Reverso Grande GMT.

You should have a look at Grand Seiko.
They have quite a few GMT watches in their portfolio and are,from a quality point of view,at least on the same level as Rolex.
Simple, get the Rolex GMT master, I miss my LN so dearly, I have the whole lineup ( Pepsi, Batman, Root beer) but LN is the GMT.
