Lang & Heyne Georg - Thoughts on this piece?

I've been thinking of adding a Georg for a long time, and I feel like I have the super modern end of the collection covered, so a dressy piece is on the table. My other options are something complicated from Patek, or maybe a Moritz Grossman. But I am not too huge on most Moritz designs...

My questions for long-time owners:

1. Has anyone customized their Lang & Heyne? How did this go? Were they on-time?
2. Any concerns around quality and changes at the brand since both founders have been gone for quite some time? I know there was a bit of a kerfuffle last year about the removal of some internal angles that they since brought back. I guess I don't care much about that if it's the same as the picture when I order but my concern is...are corners being cut elsewhere? Seems like no?
3. How big does the Georg wear? What common watches would you compare it to? Given it's a dress piece, I don't want it to look massive lol.

I was thinking of doing something in a gold case, with a funky pastel color kind of like PennyWatch did, but with art deco type numerals.

Finally, what else would you consider that is dressy, but has its own design language? For example with the Lang and Heyne, there is no mistaking it! Same with a Patek. What I don't want is some independent that is just derivative of Breguet or Patek...
