So, need a purchase advice.

Hi guys,

I'll be doing a purchase in the upcoming couple of weeks and I'm a bit undecided actually.

My intention is to add 2 valuable piece of Patek to my current collection.

The first one is decided, it is going to be a 5270G. I have my eye on it for a long time now and I would like to own one very much.

The other one is a true dilemma for me. I like to wear the watch as much as possible, but on the other hand, I'm trying to get the rare pieces as possible.
For me, there are 3 candidates.

1. 5711P

I wouldn't actually think of another reference if I have my hands on one of this very rare pieces, but I'm not sure if i ever can get it, so I need to have some alternatives, thus this thread exists. This is the true simple but one of the most exclusive piece for me. I was thinking about getting a 5711/1A because of my admiration to its pure simple design, now it has added rarity and exclusivity. But as I said, I'm not sure about the availability, so the poll is really about the other 2 candidates, but I very much like to learn how many of you will choose this one over the other 2. This one is about 90,000 CHF (100,000 USD) list price. And also, there is a word (thanks to unknown) that it will be produced but will be very limited, sort of the situation of the reference 5131. The dream is to get this one now, and be on the list for the 5131, but the chances are not great on that one

2. 5131G(J)

This is one of my ultimate holy grails and getting one with premium is of course the logical thing to do, but I'm not sure if I can ever get on the waiting list and eventually get one in years. Paying over MSRP (Around 125,000 USD) and getting this is my second alternative. Not sure about which case material to go, I'd like the yellow gold more (and a YG piece is something needed in my collection) but it's brown strap turns me off a little bit. And I also like the WG version because of it's wearability with a simple jean&t-shirt outfit. I'm not sure if the YG matches that. But I'd appreciate some real life experiences about that.

3. 5070P

This one is the least attractive one for me(of course, only out of this 3 watches), but it's perfect size and perfect rarity & collectibility makes this watch attractive for me. And I found one sealed, asking 130,000 USD.

What do you guys think?

I am not sure what kind of advice you are looking for!!!!! My suggestion would be to buy the 5270G if you are able to and can afford it! the odds of getting any of the other 3 pieces you mentioned are very very low. It seems to me that you are new to Pate...

wear the watch as it is. I know it may seem weird to you, but I don't like changing straps at all, so that's why brown strap is a turn-off for me.
