My journey began with ALS and Patek as I was drawn to complications first and foremost. Aesthetics are important to me, but a sublime movement is equally important. As I am a fairly young collector, I have never know haute horology timepieces to be reasonably priced, so I guess my expectations are very high and I expect the entire package or I shy from making a purchase.

....yes, the finishing does seem of a higher standard to the 5170......yes... On 5131.....i can't tell you as mine doesn't arrive until next week!!!
