'Bragging rights'...
Bragging Rights is not meant as a negative wording. We all buy something special, simply because of that , not that we will actually brag about it. The idea to own something unique is in all of us. I don't think it is wrong. When we own any Patek , we also own the bragging rights that we know a bit more about horology history and knowledge over the general public which may prefer an i-watch. That's what I mean. In the end this 5970 and the new 5270P will both be a classic, except that 5970 salmon is rarer.

....yes, the finishing does seem of a higher standard to the 5170......yes... On 5131.....i can't tell you as mine doesn't arrive until next week!!!
