double balance openwork royal oak right?
I have often thought it interesting that this is never cited as a resonance watch, I think because they are on the same balance staff/ axis so is enhancing the mass of the oscillator to improve accuracy as less easily disturbed and going in opposing directions the effects of gravity should be cancelled out. (the first part made sense to me, the second part I took the AP sales persons word for because I am to stupid to understand how that would work without the help of a picture of a animation)
I also understand the AP has a single escapement, so not two separate balances, escapements and gear trains connected either directly at the oscillator like Armin Storm, or connected for resonance (up for debate) via the bridges and plates.
There are some other double balance watches out there, also not described as resonance I think for similar reasons.
Quite a few points I am sure I can be corrected on. Happy to receive corrections or opposing thoughts.

I think you may be mistaken...
The escapements are not connected in the joure (as they are in other examples you mentioned). The journe has two separate second hands with nothing but the vibrations of the main plate connecting them. There is no "averaging" happening with the journe. Se...
