this was excellent and touched on some many makers.
The video is very hypnotic, I had to show my wife who seemed unimpressed I was showing her a table of Metronomes and trying to explain how its like what happens in a watch that contains 2 dials from a brand I like.
For any one else interested the article also has 3 links at the end to more physics descriptions and models of a ball on a spring despite the math equations being beyond me, the accompanying wording is very clear. One link is incorrect but the article it was meant to link to is below.

The escapements are not connected in the joure (as they are in other examples you mentioned). The journe has two separate second hands with nothing but the vibrations of the main plate connecting them. There is no "averaging" happening with the journe. Se...
