I personally think this is the most impressive complication!
Out of all the new watches I've seen from Glashutte Original this year, I think this Senator Diary is the most unique and interesting complicated watch.
I look forward to seeing more about this watch!

. . . in steel with a silver dial. Here's the press release . . . Senator Chronograph XL Quintessentially Original Essential. Original. Unmistakable. The Senator Chronograph XL is a superb example of the fine art of mechanical watchmaking from Glash?tte O...

you read in my mind or what? This new Combo is definitely convincing, to me. The only " little " thing which made me stay away was the color used for the Time. Now, in this combination, it is defintely a winner. In my Wish List. A Total GO. Love it. Damn,...
Well, Mo...

I read your opinion below, and I understand your point of view, the fact that first G.O releases the PanoInverse in WG or RG, and that now, it can look a bit weird to go down with a SS version. But honestly, when I see the outcome, I'm really convinced, a...
Agreed

I had a chance to play with the panoinverse in rose gold at the end of the year and although it is fantastic to look at in the metal, I think the use of a black three-quarter plate on the steel version works a lot better.
I hear you, Mo . . .

. . . but I take the opposite view. A decision to offer the same exquisite movement in steel as previously offered in precious metal is an indication of a complete lack of pretension, in my humble opinion. It's precisely their willingness to offer creatio...

I really like this!! A very strong and innovative combination of young and sporty colours and traditional watchmaking values with the duplex swan neck, engravings, chatons etc. Perfect IMO! A few questions to those of you who have seen it live (or maybe m...

Till now, I know only one watch which will allow you to set the hour of your alarm on 24 hours, the U.N Sonata. The other Alarms are on 12 hours, if I'm not wrong. So, the problem is that your alarm will sound twice a day, which is not a good thing. With ...
Well Nicolas,

I would assume that many of us use their cell phones or PDAs to be reminded of the appointments they enter more or less days in advance. The trouble with a watch ringing five days later may be to recall why it is ringing I am surprised to read you asking ...
You get a point, Martin.

A Technical Beauty, indeed. But as you said, will a business man, with a lotg of things in his head, remember only 3 days after, why his Alarm rings? You get a point, my friend. Well, go to Basel and tell me all, please! You know what I'm speaking about. ...

Thanks for burning the midnight oil to bring these to us, Art. Overall a very impressive line-up.....although I am disappointed that the Pano line is ignored altogether, yet again. The focus is very much on the XL line, which sadly is too big for me. The ...

do you mean I can set a specific day & time for the alarm? If so it does sounds like an impressive complication, although I have to wonder how practical this complication really is...
Thanks, good work Art.

At appears that stainless and a back to roots aesthetic are the key elements of this years new models. I am most enamored with the cal. 95 piece and was wondering if you had procured any movement pictures? It saddens me that the LE platinum chronometer w...
Thanks for the report, Art!

GO fields an impressive lineup once again! I'm not sure about the big date version of the Sixties, or why you need to set an alarm days in advance, but with the new Diary I guess you have the option. Looking VERY MUCH forward to learning more! Cheers, Dao...
