I might've actually refused it. That color is just so unattractive to me, that I probably would've said no. And if I had said yes, I would've had to buy a lot clothes to make me look good while wearing it. I will admit, there was once an Art Deco looking Rolls-Royce with a dark bluish black main paint scheme and a mint green accents both on the exterior (a coachline stripe) and on the inside (stitching and other details) to give it a dark and moody art-deco look. That would actually look pretty good with the rather strange color dial. You know me and my attempt at colorful pants. I'm trying. I got a pair of Isaia pants that are light "turquoise" and uhh... well... I haven't worn them yet. They haven't even been hemmed yet to be honest!

I'm pretty sure anyone, though to a varying degree, is exposed to the influence of market trends, including folks with your level of knowledge of the industry....it's just human nature, and alas, exploiting it is another VERY successful industry! ;-)
To give you perhaps the most extreme (and highly theoretical!) example in this sense, take any of the *many* collectors who last year (legitimately) expressed their disapproval of the 5711 version whose name may not be spoken --- a $53k watch that fetched...
