I've only seen the watch in photos and interview videos. So I admit, my experience is second hand. But also knowing how everything works, knowing about the new LVMH advisory board filled with very highly compensated journalists, and knowing the track record at LVMH... I also know that LVMH takes massive advantage of the entire industry and they're somewhat vertically integrated with the journalists and publications.
But... back to the watch. At the end, if the watch is good, then I have no complaints and I can only hope it will sell well (plenty of great watches don't sell especially well - Breguet for instance). And if it's bad and it sells well due to good marketing, I can only be happy for LVMH. I'll save my further opinions until I've seen the watch. Do note, much of the above was a note about LVMH the corporation, and not the watch.
