Just back from Boccadasse, even in the most hectic days a brief stop (and a good drink) at night are mandatory! :-)) I have no horse in the race (in the end, I don't even have one with Patek ;-) but I think discussing this watch is very good...
I see you have a really clear opinion and it will be interesting to hear from more and more members over time! It will only benefit the brand at this early stage, and given what I have seen, I'll genuinely be happy if they succeed in this new adventure!

The neon green color definitely makes this more of a fun watch and might be difficult to pair clothes with. Would pair nicely with a Lamborghini sports car though! ...

At that price point, I'd rather have the Bulgari. Yes, the Tambour is a higher end movement, but I'm told it still has wire springs. So it's not something that would pass Geneva Seal level.
Yep, I need to keep it brief tonight but I was given a really nice and thorough presentation by the kind folks at the Brand today (plus a couple of bottles of champagne to enjoy my day between Portofino and Genova, which never hurts! :-))
I honestly found it a very appealing watch, both horologically and aesthetically, though an obvious point of discussion was the difficulty of LV to reposition themselves in this different market, especially at a time when it's *exceptionally* competitive!...
But at the end... The design of the watch...
The watch just doesn't look good. Also, the name "Tambour" was chosen because the previous watches were THICK and looked like a drum! "Tambour" is a French word for drum. The new one doesn't look like a drum at all. As it's much thinner. They're charging ...
