I hear these journalists are getting huge paychecks. I'm told the compensation for this board "Saudi-sized" (again, no disrespect towards any government, this is simply a figure of speech) referencing to the generous amount of money golf players were compensated to play at a special tournament in Saudi Arabia, and I'm sure there are many intangible benefits too.

At that price point, I'd rather have the Bulgari. Yes, the Tambour is a higher end movement, but I'm told it still has wire springs. So it's not something that would pass Geneva Seal level.
Yep, I need to keep it brief tonight but I was given a really nice and thorough presentation by the kind folks at the Brand today (plus a couple of bottles of champagne to enjoy my day between Portofino and Genova, which never hurts! :-))
I honestly found it a very appealing watch, both horologically and aesthetically, though an obvious point of discussion was the difficulty of LV to reposition themselves in this different market, especially at a time when it's *exceptionally* competitive!...
