Horological Meandering

So I was at the Harrods Dept Store in London and saw them selling Bamford designed and branded watches . Out of curiosity asked if they have any Peanuts Snoopy partnership watch as they had done a run with King nerds x HODINKEE etc …my luck was that they ...  

The neon green color definitely makes this more of a fun watch and might be difficult to pair clothes with. Would pair nicely with a Lamborghini sports car though! ...  

You may ask for advice from our Prof for styling advise. It will be fresh and virile

PS: On a related note, I was literally amazed today to meet people from: Italy, US, Korea (OK, that's my girlfriend ), Cuba, Brazil, Bulgaria, Venezuela, Russia, Australia, and France (and I'm probably missing someone! ;-)) While in the US this is far mor...

I really wanted to like this watch. Since having briefly met Jean Arnault last year at GPHG 2021, I found him to be such a charming and likable fella. I thought he really understood it watchmaking and collectors. But now, I'm really unconvinced. The other...

At that price point, I'd rather have the Bulgari. Yes, the Tambour is a higher end movement, but I'm told it still has wire springs. So it's not something that would pass Geneva Seal level.

I honestly found it a very appealing watch, both horologically and aesthetically, though an obvious point of discussion was the difficulty of LV to reposition themselves in this different market, especially at a time when it's *exceptionally* competitive!... 

The watch just doesn't look good. Also, the name "Tambour" was chosen because the previous watches were THICK and looked like a drum! "Tambour" is a French word for drum. The new one doesn't look like a drum at all. As it's much thinner. They're charging ... 

I see you have a really clear opinion and it will be interesting to hear from more and more members over time! It will only benefit the brand at this early stage, and given what I have seen, I'll genuinely be happy if they succeed in this new adventure! C... 

I've only seen the watch in photos and interview videos. So I admit, my experience is second hand. But also knowing how everything works, knowing about the new LVMH advisory board filled with very highly compensated journalists, and knowing the track reco... 

Funny one. Does the Snoopy hit the ball once an hour with the minutes hand or is the ball moving too?
