Drive/Tram
As already advised, driving is fine as long as you don't try to drive in the centre of town/to the actual exhibition during Baselworld. Drive to your hotel and Tram it.
I'll be there definitely on Wednesday 30th and possibly also Sat 26th. See you at the bar in the AHCI area !!

Hi Ed, You already have your room confirmed? If not, I doubt you would now find a hotel in Basel (they were all sold out months ago) so you will more than likely be in one of the outlying towns unless you are very lucky. Andrew

It not too far
I have stayed near there before and it is not too far away. Not as convenient as Zurich (in terms of lots of trains) but certainly closer by car.
