is that Purists GTGs start in the morning ;-). Honestly, many Purist watch aficionadoes stay in Zurich. In Basel, hotels charge 3x the normal price and more for a room, thus the hobbyists stay in Zurich. Trains go very reliably several times a hour.

Hi Ed, You already have your room confirmed? If not, I doubt you would now find a hotel in Basel (they were all sold out months ago) so you will more than likely be in one of the outlying towns unless you are very lucky. Andrew

As far as I know, they have not been delivered yet but I did not order one as I wanted one of the special 10 but could not get my hands on one! I think they were meant to be delivered somewhere around this month from memory but I think they have been work...

I have stayed near there before and it is not too far away. Not as convenient as Zurich (in terms of lots of trains) but certainly closer by car.
