Marcus, thanks for your prompt, I am price driven here, two are chronographs, so which of them is better? The last is a steel gold simple watch, with 3 hands, more a lifestyle product so I need to choose. The purpose is casual and or daily wear. So which ...

If the money is not burning a hole in your pocket, I would rather keep it where it is and educate myself (here, of course!). You are very likely to find alternatives, the more of them, the longer you are reading here. Of course, a certain cultural backgro... 

why would you want to wear what everyone else wears.....prestige in breguet not rolex....have a bit of pride and class with Breguet

i agree with all three points Marcus has made. The Yachtmaster is/was in a steel/platinum combination.

Agree w Spelbound. Based on your text, go with Rolex. If you change your mind later on and want to sell, you will limit your loss somewhat.

As you will be the only one who know what you like and want, but with the point you made that this should be an everyday watch, which would mean very flexible in use, my personal choice will be the Breguet. Simply because it will do well as an everyday wa...

Since this is really a mind bender I'll ask a simpler question. Which is a better chrono of the two, Rolex or Breguet? Then I can evaluate it against the simpler 3 hand watch. Tx

There is no simple answer to this question. It really depends on what is important to you, what your values and desires are. They are both excellent chronos, with many fine features. The following are my opinions, but not "facts", and are offered as a way...  

The Daytona, while very nice, is a scratch magnet of epic proportion. I've never owned any watch that was so easy to ruin, as it were. The tiniest brushes will leave a mark. But these are not the good marks of character--these are marring scratches that h...

Thanks folks I've decided to go in for the type XXI in steel as shown in the pic. The Rolexs will have to fight another day another watch. Cheers
