I dont think it will be short-lived. Both RL and Richemont,
who both have reserves to see this through are committed to this project over the long term. However, production run numbers on all lines are in the low numbers, so even with this being a long term committment, you will not see too many of the RL Watches around in the near future.

the watches are very nice, although i wouldnt personally buy one. One thing that I think could be improved are the sports watches. the movement could have been 1000 times nicer. if i were designing it id replace that ugly oscillating weight with an AP roy...

but i would imagine since RL are spending massive amounts of money on these watches (promoting and developing) that they are trying to secure a place in the watch market, even though it may be small when compared to the likes of Piaget or even Gucci watch...
