used throughout is the JLC, so that goes for the Stirrup collection as well. Having handled the Stirrup chrono in platinum, I can say that it has heft on the wrist and is a luxe combination. Distinctive watch with dial and feel the way I like to see a watch.
The Sports is a pure sports in that it does have water resistance (not sure at what depth). The case for the black version is PVD. I asked why and was told that PVD was preferred over DLC as the PVD gave a finish and effect nearer to the vulcanised rubber for the strap. Has an AP EOD feel to it!
Remember there are only 67 of the former, and only 30 of the latter available (total for all the stores, boutiques, and salons).
