I posted above Roger's style of finishing is not the style of French/Swiss. George Daniels has a dim view on finishing and it shows in his own watches. Roger is an apprentice of GD so why are you judging him based on your own view of finishing? What exactly is "quality" when all watches show imperfections at 10x?
My comment on his lifetime production volume is factual (150 up to Oct 2023) vs 260 per year for GF. What's wrong with this comment? You are simply putting words in my mouth at this point with wild assumptions. I quoted production number because above poster does not understand how much time it takes to "convert" a raw metal rod into a shiny watch case without the help of CNC. Roger uses CNC only for some movement components but I don't think people are interested to know this and just assume he uses CNC on his entire watch.

Well… Make a watch from scratch, then total the amount of time and money spent. Add the lost value of your time pursuing a more lucrative opportunity. Pull out a 10x optic and compare results. Go through a hundred iterations.

You keep implying price is telling or production is telling. This is a thread about quality of finish and execution, neither auction results nor production numbers tell anything about quality.
