Horological Meandering

Hi I'm not sure anyone of you are like me, trying hard but in vain to maintain the number of pieces in our collection (meaning also wearing them). My reason is simple as I like to wear my pieces as often as I can so I get to spend max quality wrist time w...

I endeavor to wear my watches often. Preferably, I wear my dress/work watches once a week, and my weekend watches every other week. Anything less and I am hard pressed to justify the amount of capital tied up in the piece. When I previously owned a greate... 

I would probably do best with about ten watches. However, I have many more. My tastes seem to change, so even when I have a watch that does not get much wear I tend to hold on to it in case I once again get interested in wearing it.

is to have 3 good pieces to hand down to each of my children. Its a noble reason for me to divert my resources.

as long as they fit into my current theme(s) then there is no limit. i've been as high as about 300 and as low as 12. i'm currently on 45 with 1 going out and 3 coming in shortly so that will make 47 before i start looking or saving for my next one. i mus...

... in my watch case. I call it the elevator theory; one must exit before another comes in. The advantage is in the discipline of supposed refrain from over indulgence. But honestly, it gives me immense satisfaction to see my collection gradually upgrade ...
