Your thoughts, I'm sure, are echoed by many here. We need to always do our homework and not jump on the band wagon just because we see a trend moving that way. Even when a Purist posts, we still need to do our own research.
What's great about this forum is that it is filled with warm, friendly people, people who have a font of knowledge that no matter what financial status one has, Purists are always willing to answer any question and welcome anyone who has a passion for timepieces. Still, it comes down to research and it sure looks like you've done your share in 2014. And then having to write and post it for all of us. It starts the wheels turning and impels us to research further.
I thank you for it and I thank your family who allows you take time away from them so that you may pass it on to us.
