Horological Meandering

With all do respect, you've just started a thread that is poorly researched, accusatory of the watch industry, and like a charismatic speaker you've found a topic that 99% of the people will agree with you.

If I gave a speech telling the whole world that if I became Leader of the World that everyone would be able to freely buy Patek Philippe Nautiluses and Stainless Steel Rolex Daytonas at retail price, the world would cheer, but it would not be the way the brands want to build their brands. The world is full of complainers who think their argument makes sense. But don't have an emphatic view of the other side. Before you make such posts in the future, I suggest you consider the opposing theory to your argument. In forensics, speech and debate, and gentlemanly arguing, before one starts a post like this, they should perhaps research views of the brand and the jewelry store. What are their objectives to do this event? How do the brands determine what is a successful event? No thought is being put in here. You sir, are simply making a post that appeals to the masses and discusses an unrealistic and over idealistic topic.
