Ya know, after about 40 years of actively enjoying horology...
...there is no single grail. Akin to when asking which vehicle is the best? Maybe the 'grail' is a Pagani, but also could be a Ford Superduty 350 (for towing the Pagani to track events in a nice enclosed trailer.). Could be a motorcycle, especially for travelling efficiently through parts of India.
Sure a modern F1 car is fast, but would it really be 'the most fun' to drive on track? What about the fun-filled Formula Ford, or vintage Lotus.... not ultra-fast yet very fun.
And for rock crawling fun or hill climbing....
Imho there is no single all-encompassing grail timepiece, as one must also realize that different moments and tasks also dictate what may be considered the 'grail'. Plus which metal bracelet or leather / rubber strap?

My two grails are on the top left and right for which I am selling a Vacheron Constantin Overseas 47040 and a Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711J. My grail end state collection will then only consist of four pieces. The remainder goes to my son or gets sold.

Reachable grail => Patek QP Chrono like 5270P or 5270J ... If lucky may be the QP Split Chrono. Real grail that i do not think i will have the means for=> PP WT minute repeater.

To be fair, I did listen to the sound on youtube video...
The sound is not as nice (in terms of purity) as Patek or JLC, and it is a bit harsh but is quite loud and nice for my ears..granted, i have yet to listen many MR watches.
