Independents

Hi again, and thank you. What impresses me is not just by how you've dug deep into PF. It's the specific selection.

I love your Ionica because first and foremost it's a form watch, and I don't have enough of them (that may change soon with my fourth or fifth about to enter the fold). I don't do regret but if I had a second bite at the Tonda GT I might have gone for the model above in red gold with the blue rubber strap. What a delicious combination.

I try to hold back from double dipping. It's hard, because there are a number of watchmakers that I could easily entertain several times over. As it is, I dip a toe then move on in order to enjoy breadth of learning, experience, and so on. As for the specific watches that I pass by, I'll of course continue to appreciate them whenever fellow collectors share them on fora like this.

That said, I have one or two sub-collections discernible to a knowing eye. For instance, family connections in Brazil have given me cause to explore watches with some or other association to the country. Ergo, a Patek Philippe, a Tissot, a Seiko and a Zenith so far. This may extend in time to a particular Universal Geneve from the 1940s. I'll give the Hublot Paraiba a pass and - yes, the PF Pershing made for the Brazilian Football Confederation too smile

SOTC as of now is a pot pourri:
