Svend Andersen: New and Old, but never boring
We have been quite lucky in London recently with a plethora of small watch events taking place since the summer. Pierre-Alexandre Aeschlimann, the chief exec and owner of the brand, pops over to London quite frequently nowadays and recently, with the assistance of his UK based PR exec, Zeina Dakak of Comms Collective, arranged viewings of old and new pieces over a series of three days to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Svend's eponymous atelier.
Luckily (I think) I arrived for the final slot of the week, at a beautiful venue on Mount Street, along with only 2 other good friends and another enthusiast. We had a couple of hours to photograph and chat.
I have also included some older photos of the original 40th anniversary jump hour prototype. The set includes one of the few decent wristshots I have taken over the years (I'm more of a macro guy) courtesy of Zeina's wrist.
If you have any questions about the pieces please ask! (Not enough of an attention span to caption everything).
Regards,
Baruch
