I think you have moved well beyond the level of novice in the world of horology. I learned a great deal from your article, and found the pictures to be very helpful in considering your comments. I agree that there is really no clear winner in this horological battle royale. Both watches are so spectacular in their own right. I do think the KV is a little more joyful in the expression of its values, whereas the Dufour puts forth many of the same ideas, but in a much more sober visual dialogue.
Both are great watches, so thanks for sharing them with us!
