.. as a former audio buff, I thought they were Jeff Rawland... no? I would have recognized, as I used to own Burmester as well
Burmester surface is totally mirror finish, while Jeff Rawland surface has Geneve Stripes (get the drift?) But both are very fine from sound as well as design stand point.
But, anyway, yes, he is a designer by training and engineer by choice.
He is working now with other projects and hope someday he go around the world to show his pieces to you in person.
