May I ask you if your watch has shorter lugs than the original?
A friend told me that the lugs are long and hence it gives away the size (41mm), but you mention that the watch has short lugs.
One issue for me with the 37mm Simplicity is the elongated lugs which doesn't look great on my small wrist.
The lugs used in Journe and Roger Smith fits me better, thats why I'm curious.
Such curiosity is dangerous to my wallet ;-)

my watch has the standard case so the lugs have not changed they are
rather short lets say half was between a Smith and a Dufour

I adore this watch
You prefered : MB&F, Urwerk or Vianney Halter. These are watch which are not my style, I admire the watches from a technical point of view but the designs are not my cup of tea. The Laurent ferrier on the other hand ... that is a dream !
